Big Boy

Well, It is a big day here at the Coleman house. Samuel got his big boy bed put in his room today! He laid down for a nap and while he was down I put his new bed together. When Chris went and got him, he walked around the corner got a big smile and wanted to get right on. So then I got his room rearranged and he just loves it. Chris tucked him in tonight and he went right to sleep. There was no up and down or anything. I guess my little man really is growing up!  I will try to post some pictures tomorrow of our proud little guy.

Dr. appointment today

We went to the dr today and the baby looked fine. However, we still do not know what we are having. The baby almost looked stuck in the position it was in and its legs would not move out of the way. I will go back in two weeks and have another sono and maybe then we will find out what we are having. The most important thing though was that the baby was healthy growing just like it should be and had a great looking heart and heartbeat!

Long day

It has been a long day! Mainly because there has not been much sleep for me the past three nights. Sara Grace has out of the blue become very restless and just wants to be awake all of the time. I am not sure what all is going on. She seems very happy and does not seem to be in pain but she just doesn't want to sleep. I pray she will sleep peacefully and rest well tonight.

18 weeks

Yep, 18 weeks officially today. This is such an exciting week. We go Friday to the dr to find out what we are having! We can't wait. This pregnancy has been so funny. Every Tuesday has been my growing pains day. I have never experienced a specific day of the week that I consistently feel growing pains. And Wednesday's have been my day to feel like I am ovulating. It is very predictable. This week also marks for me my half way point. I have never made it to 40 weeks with any of my pregnancies so I guess we will see with this one. I will update Friday.

Thanks Trisha

Thanks Trisha for the clothes today! They are so cute and Sara Grace should be able to use most of them! I appreciate very much all of the wonderful clothes you have given us. We have not had to buy Sara Grace hardly anything!

Great Weekend

It was a great weekend this past weekend. Chris was off and it was so nice. We just relaxed and enjoyed it. We went to Church and saw our friends little girl dedicated and enjoyed service. Then we came home had a lazy day at the house, got out in the pool and just had a great evening. It is always nice when we can just enjoy each other and not have 5000 things it feels like we need to do. It is a big week this week. I will be 18 weeks pregnant on wednesday and we will go to the doctor on Friday to see our little one and hopefully find out what we are having! I am more in a hurry I guess to find that out this time than I think I have ever been before. I think it's funny.

17 weeks

Wednesday of this week I was officially 17 weeks pregnant! Boy what a difference a day makes. It never ceases to amaze me at how much can change from day to day in a pregnancy. For instance I was going to be 17 weeks on Wednesday and on Tuesday had lots of growing pains. Yesterday itself was not too bad. Today I have felt a significant change in how the baby is feeling when it moves. It went from little flutters, to hello baby. It does not matter how many children you have. That is something that never gets old!

More Milestones

We just have new little milestones popping up all around the house this week. Samuel has started to scale the side of his crib now. So we will be doing our best to get our hands on a toddler bed for him. Kathryn lost her fourth tooth at school today! And little miss Sara Grace has started to pick her back up some when she is supporting herself with her arms while she is on the floor. She is doing so well. I just know I am going to blink and she will be crawling and chasing her brother and sister all over the place.

Just some more random pictures

Kathryn giving a performance at the house

Same performance. She so loves being the center of attention!

Cheesing it up! She already loves books. She gets that from her Daddy!

Already having fun with a "cell phone" I don't know where she gets that!

He just loves the camera

Just the two of us, for a moment!

He is such a ham!

Sara updates

Just wanted to put on here what miss Sara Grace is up to these days. She started rolling over last month(month6). This month she has really taken that to the next level. She rolls all over the place and scoots all across the floor. She is holding the front half of herself up really well then she will lay down and stick her little bottom strait up by "standing" on her tip toes. So once she puts the two together maybe she will get how mobile she really can be. Kathryn and Samuel both started crawling at 7 months so I figure she should be right around there too. Exciting times. I guess it's a good thing I already have the baby gates installed!

Gymnastics bound

Well, here we go. School week two starts tomorrow. Kathryn will also be starting gymnastics this week! We got her signed up this past week and bought her a pretty blue and silver sparkly leotard. She is so excited. She was a girl scout last school year and was able to go do a lesson of  gymnastics with her troop. So this year she said she did not want to do girl scouts but instead wanted to do gymnastics. I am so excited that it was able to happen. This is something that I know will be so good for her in so many ways! I can't wait to see how she does.

Doctor's appt

Ok, well I went to the doctor today for my 16 week check and everything is great. I actually got to see my little one today! I was just there for a regular check and the doctor could not get the Doppler to pick up the baby's heartbeat so he had me step next door and did a real quick sono, just long enough to check the heartbeat and so I saw my baby. Heart beat was good and strong!  My next appointment will be on the 27th and hopefully we will be able to find out then what we are having. we will be doing the full in depth sono then. So, I will keep updates coming.

So, this one is so different

This pregnancy has just been so different. I am 16 weeks this week which is awesome. And getting pregnant and counting the weeks go by are about the only things that are the same with this pregnancy and the other three. I have has more strong cravings and aversions than I have ever experienced before. I get hot so easily!!!!! It is just crazy how different things have been. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow then another in two weeks for a sono. I will keep ya posted.

Good day

Whew! Long day today.  Chris had to work so it was just me and the kids until eight o'clock tonight. They keep me going all day that is for sure. Just as one is taken care of the other needs something then of course they have to do the everybody needs something at once thing at least a few times. I think they like to see mom run around like a crazy person. I can't complain though. I am so blessed to have the children I have. I know they are not perfect just as none of us are but I could not ask for children that love each other and love me and Chris more than what they do. Even my busy little boy loves to just crawl up in my lap and just sit with mommy and give me hugs and kisses! I am so thankful! Well, it is nine o'clock and all three are asleep, so I think I am going to go hang out with the hubby for a little while before we both crash!

Daddy gives a haircut

Well, Chris decided today that he was going to give Samuel a quick haircut. He just needed to be trimmed up so no big deal. Chris said he watched the guy at the hair place do it and figured he could too. Well it started out ok. But Samuel did not want to sit still and kept moving his head as Chris would go to cut and the hair line began to creep higher and higher. Well, you can imagine where this is heading...

Yep, all his beautiful hair is gone!
He does not care though

Chris Decided he would do a matching do!

My handsome little man!

First grade

Well, My little girl started first grade on Monday. She is doing great and having a great time. She came home today bummed because she got in trouble for talking already. What can I Say she is her mama's daughter! Time is just going by so fast. Here are a couple of pics from her first day.

School

Well, here it is. the last day of summer vacation for Kathryn. Let's just say she is a little less than excited about the whole situation. It has been a wonderful summer break and we have enjoyed the time off. However, it will be good to fall back into our routine. I really think once school gets going Kathryn is going to enjoy it very much. She always does really well, and I think this year she may just surprise herself at just how much she is going to learn. She wants to start gymnastics as well. Hopefully we will be able to get her in and I pray that she loves it! This school year is one that I am looking forward too. I can not wait to see what all she accomplishes.

Our gift from the wind

Last night as we got home from open house my mom(who watched my little ones for me) tells me that a branch came down on the house while I was gone. Great I thought. So I go around to the side of our house and this is what I find...

That was some branch! Thank the Lord that there appears to be no damage to roof, house, fence, or air conditioner(which it landed on). Chris is working nights so he won't be able to do anything with it until Monday. Then we will have to find a chainsaw and some muscle! Oh the joys of home ownership!

Open house

Well, we did it. It is official! Kathryn had her open house for 1st grade tonight. It just does not seem possible that she is growing so fast. I just know I am going to blink my eyes and Samuel is going to be in Kindergarten! I love all my babies and just treasure each one of them. Wow. First grade.

Sweet Moments

So Kathryn, ended up spending the night with with her Nana last night. She loves to do that. Last night was a little different though. She is normally all about telling me and Chris she is ready for us to go so that she can have her Nana to herself and she did ask us if we were ready to leave. However once we said we were leaving she started giving lots of hug, kisses, and I will miss you's. Hugs and kisses and I love you are standard but she normally is not concerned about missing us. She walked out to the van with us as we were leaving doing more of the same. I told Chris, she has never done this before. Then last night, my phone rings and it is her calling to talk. She started telling me all sorts of stuff. And made sure to let me know that she missed me. I usually call her to tell her good night when she spends the night away and she called me before I could call her. It was so sweet. It is always interesting when your children hit a new point in their growth. She is really becoming aware of spending time together. She has already said she does not want to go back to school because she wants to spend all of her time with me. I hope that the transition back to school will be an easy one for her. I love her so much and I enjoy our time together. She is just growing up so fast. I can't wait to see how all of her potential starts to shine!

15 weeks

Today is a new week for me. I am 15 weeks pregnant today! This pregnancy started out feeling like it was going to creep but now it is picking up speed!

Wow

The week is going by so fast. Open house for Kathryn is in two days. Friday! Then school starts Monday! this summer has really flown by. It is hard to believe that Kathryn is starting the first grade. She is growing so fast. They all are. You blink and they have reached a new milestone. We are hoping to get Kathryn started in gymnastics. I think she wants to do that this year instead of girl scouts. Things sure are about to get even busier than they all ready are but we are looking forward to it.

Busy, Busy

Busy few days. Chris is finally off! So, when he got home from work yesterday morning we hit the pool. It was nice! Then we hung out inside while the little ones napped then we got up and went and got some dinner and picked up the stuff for me to put a perm in Kathryn's hair. When we got home it was not to long before Chris crashed bless his heart. Then once I got the little ones down I tackled putting the perm in Kathryn's hair. It turned out so cute and with her tender little head she only screamed a couple of times! Poor thing her head is so tender. I am hoping having the perm in it will make getting ready for school in the mornings a lot easier. I know when I have had perms in the past it is a lot quicker to get ready. She did not make it to bed until 11:30. Me midnight. Oh well, it is done now and maybe we can catch a little extra rest today.
